3. Cost: $5. All SSAA and ALOC members are asked to donate $5. The donation will provide each member (5) raffle tickets and the opportunity to enter up to three (3) pieces of art for the “In House Art Show”.
*Note: The $5 donation will help defray the expense of renting the Recreation Center and the purchasing of supplies.
4. Award and Raffle Prizes: *“People Choice Award”. All attending the event will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece of Artwork.
*There will be a drawing for raffle prizes. *Also a 50/50 Cash Raffle will be available for anyone interested. (tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5)
5. Members Responsibly:
* Please bring an item for the raffles.
*Provide a Pot Luck dish, salad, desert, or beverage. (See the sign-up sheet)
* Volunteer to serve on one of the following committees: Set-up, Check-in, 50/50 Raffle ticket sellers, food set-up, “People Choice Award , or clean-up. (See sign-up sheet)
Please participate in this event. Invite family members and guests. It is the last meeting of our 2016-2017 Season. Let’s end it with a “Fun Filled” event.
May 20st In House Art Show and pot Luck Luncheon Procedures
Please follow directions:
1. As you enter, place your Pot Luck item on the serving table.
2. Set-up your Artwork on the tables along the perimeter of the room. Use table easel, standing easel or lean paintings against the wall.
3. If you brought a raffle item, place it on the designated table.
4. Proceed to the sign-in table:
• Sign-in
• Pay your $5 donation and receive five (5) raffle tickets.
• Receive numbered sticker(s) place on your Artwork
• SSAA $25 membership dues can also be paid. Collected by Bob Jackson.
5. Return to your artwork and place the sticker on it.
6. Find a seat at a table.
7. There will be a few brief SSAA & ALOC announcements.
8. As your table is announced, take your plate to the serving table and enjoy your lunch.
9. After lunch, view the art and vote for Peoples Choice Award. Ballots are at your table.
10. Raffle and “ Peoples Choice” winners will be announced.
