About

Sanford Seminole Art Association (SSAA) is one of the oldest cultural organizations in Seminole County. We were first organized in 1959 to support and encourage local artists and art education through demonstrations, workshops, and training.

Our monthly meetings run from September through May and include demonstrations by members and guest artists. The sessions also offer the opportunity to socialize with fellow artists while enjoying refreshments. Our members are encouraged to bring examples of their latest creations for "Show and Tell."

In addition to our monthly meetings, paid membership includes the opportunity to participate in art shows at various venues throughout the year at no additional cost.

We also organize plein air group outings, outreach to the community, and art scholarship opportunities.

We invite you to visit us and meet our artists and members.

Dates: Meetings are usually on the 4th Saturday of the month,
September to May.

Location: Seminole County Sheriff's Office
100 Eslinger Way, Sanford, FL 32773

Time: 1:00 to 3:00
