Florida State of the Arts License Plate
The Florida State of the Arts License Plate Program was created by the FL State Legislature in 1994 to support arts & culture. Funds collected through the sales of these specialty plates are distributed to the counties where the plates are sold and are used to support arts organizations, programs and activities within that county. In 1996, Seminole County government designated Seminole County Arts Council (SCAC) the recipient of these funds for Seminole County which are added to the moneys directed for the "SCAC Grants Program".

Museum of Seminole County History
"Gather to Celebrate" invites artists to explore the shared human impulse to come together as we mark life's meaningful moments. Inspired by the United States' 250th anniversary, the exhibition looks beyond historical milestones to focus on the ways people celebrate across cultures, generations, and communities. Featured works may include depictions of public gatherings such as parades, festivals, and civic events, as well as personal milestones like weddings, birthdays, graduations, and family traditions. Through a range of mediums and perspectives, the exhibition highlights how acts of gathering, whether joyful, reflective, or ceremonial, create connection, preserve memory, and express identity. Together, these works offer a vibrant and inclusive portrait of celebration as a universal and unifying experience.
