Artist Biography
Michael Bisceglia

After retiring from teaching high school physical education and coaching football for 43 years, Mike decided to pursue less demanding and more relaxing activities.

He decided to try Yoga, Tai Chi, and painting watercolors. He enrolled in a watercolor painting class at Seminole Community College. Instantly he became intrigued with the flowing, translucent qualities of painting with watercolors. Mike continued his interest in watercolors by taking several classes and workshops provided by prominent local artists. He began painting with art groups at the Winter Springs Senior Center and Casselberry Art House and joined the Central Florida Watercolor Society and The Sanford Seminole Art Association.

Mike has developed a unique style using liquid watercolors and various techniques that add interest to his art. His award-winning paintings have been exhibited at galleries and art venues in Central Florida.
Mike said, "Painting has been a rewarding and pleasurable experience" and he plans to continue exploring the various techniques using watercolors.
