Mead Botanical Garden is a 48-acre urban oasis located at 1300 S. Denning Dr. north of Orlando just off 17-92. It features hiking trails, a boardwalk, a butterfly garden, a creek, a greenhouse and a pond that's home to turtles, fish and wading birds. Dedicated in 1940 and named for horticulturist Theodore L. Mead, it is maintained by the City of Winter Park.

Get your pencils, paints or pastels ready for a plein air event at Mead Gardens. Bring a chair, an easel and plenty of hydration. We will meet near the entrance at the intersection of Garden Drive and Denning Drive. We will paint from 11am-2pm.
