Amy M.Wieck has been a sculptor for over 26 years, currently focusing on life casting. Her teenage interest in special effects makeup paved the way for this favorite technique. She will lead Sanford Seminole Art Association members and guests through a hands-on experience of life casting their thumb as she talks about her experiences of casting people. She will also give a brief overview of using polymer clay as sculpture medium.

Amy received a bachelor of science degree in studio art from Florida State University in 1992 In 2007, she founded the Florida Sculptors Guild to expand both opportunities for sculptors and to teach the community about 3-dimensional arts.
Her demonstration will follow a brief meeting of the Sanford Seminole Art Association monthly meeting. It is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Light refreshments will be served.
