Join us on March 24 as Gary Sisco demonstrates his Representational and Old Master Style of oil painting. He invites you to “Walk into the picture yourself”. He draws his inspiration from great French painters of the late 19th Century. Fantin-Latour, Sisley, Monet and Pissarro used techniques of light and color to create shadows and the illusion of depth.
Gary perfected his use of oil painting at Crealde School of Art, and in Old Master techniques at the Maitland Art Center. He has shown his work in over 75 Juried Fine Art Shows and is a member of the “Oil Painter’s of America, the nation’s premier Juried Representational Artist Association. He also teaches beginners up to accomplished students in Casselberry and Deland. You may view his work at www.siscoart.com.
To the right is Grand Venice Canal, the finished painting Gary started in this Demo.
