Biographic Data
Georgia has studied drawing, painting and photography for several years and although she started out painting in watercolor she has added oil, acrylic and colored pencils to her experience. She enjoys painting all forms as far as landscape, portraits, still life, etc. When someone asks what type of painting she does, her stock answer is "Anything that will hold still long enough."
You will find her on Facebook under the name of Ga's Art & Stuff and on Fine Art America. She belongs to the Sanford Seminole Art Association. She has had a one woman show at the West Volusia Shrine Club and has participated in shows at the Gateway Center for the Arts in DeBary, FL., at the Casselberry Art House in Casselberry, Fl., at the gallery shows by Advent Health Altamonte Springs, at the POW artist shows in Casselberry, at the Lake Mary Senior Center Shows, at Gulf State Credit Union shows, in The Rotary Club of Casselberry calendar, in the Sanford Seminole Art Association shows, in the Sanford Art Walk presented by the Historic Sanford Welcome Center and 2018 was the fourth year she participated in the Adirondack Chair Painting for the City of Casselberry's art auction at the Art and Wine Festival in November.
She has taught both drawing and painting classes at the JamArt Gallery, at the Gateway Center for the Arts, at the Center of Deltona, and at her home.
She was the featured artist at the Deltona City Hall in October 2018, on the Deltona Arts & Craft Festival flyer/poster, on the Gateway Center for the Arts Classes Gallery Exhibit and, on the Sanford Seminole Art Association poster which shows her winning First Place at their 60th Annual Show.
Her home is in Deltona, Florida and she lives with her two dogs (Buddy and Sally) and two cats (BC and Eleanor). She is retired from her third tax practice. She also built, ran and sold both New Era Laser, Inc where she built and sold laser printer cartridges and then taught herself how to repair laser printers, and Fuzzy Peach Solutions where she sold and taught Sage and QuickBooks accounting systems.
