Sanford Seminole Art Association (SSAA) is one of the oldest cultural organizations in Seminole County. We were first organized in 1959 with the intention of supporting and encouraging local artists and art education through demonstrations, workshops and training.
Our members work in a variety of media and share their experiences and promote their artwork at our meetings.
Our calendar runs from September through May, and is full of monthly meetings, social activities, demonstrations, classes and workshops by members and guest artists.
In addition to our annual shows of member art, we organize plein air group outings, and outreach to the community, including mural painting at the Central Florida Zoo and art scholarship opportunities.
We invite you to visit us and meet our artists and members.
Dates: Meetings are usually the 4th Saturday of the month,
September to May.
Location: Seminole County Sheriff's Office (Meeting Room)
100 Eslinger Way, Sanford, Fl 32773
Time: 1:00 to 3:00
